Retold from Alexander Teixeira De Mattos' translation of Fabre's "Souvenirs Entomologiques". Green cloth, gilt titles and borders. 12 beautiful tipped in colour plates with tissue guard. 271 pages. Spine and corners Good. Spine good. . Endpapers slightly foxed. Very pale foxspots to tissue guards and plates,a really nice copy. A good solid tight clean book.

A really lovely book in a large crown 8vo size 10.25 x 7.75".
