Popular uses: Universal Adjustable Proportioning Valve to Brake line Adapter Fitting, Residual Valve, Brake Switches (also many other uses) This fits the 1/4" brake tubing with a 7/16-24 tube nut fitting.

A few back in stock & ready for immediate shipment.

Update: We also carry the more popular 1/8 MNPT X 3/8-24 (3/16) brake line in another of our listings if you have the smaller 3/16" brake tubing with 3/8-24 tube nut.

1/8"-27 MNPT x 1/4" Female -  This fits the larger 1/4" brake tubing, not the smaller 3/16" tubing

1/8-27 NPT is common for most adjustable prop valves (not all). 7/16-24 is common on 1/4" brake tubing. Your application may be different. Please confirm prior to your purchase.

UPDATE: We also carry the smaller 1/8" x 3/8-24 in another listing if you have smaller 3/16" brake lines. Need help? Just contact me.

Fits many prop valves but not all. Many have a 1/8-27 female NPT port but some newer ones have a 3/8-24 inverted flare port which does not need an adapter. On that style you can just thread in your brake line but you need to know what style you have. If unsure you can contact me for assistance. Happy to help.

7/16-24 IFF to 1/8-27 NPT Male. 7/16-24 is the common size for a 1/4" brake line. If you are unsure if your sizes or fitment contact me for assistance.

want the smaller adapter to fit 3/16" brake tubing? Listing number: http://www.ebay.com/itm/120964272171

What we have here is a hard to find, special adapter fitting which will allow you to adapt from common 1/4" brake line with 7/16-24 SAE inverted flare fitting to most aftermarket adjustable proportioning valve (prop valve). If your proportioning valve did not come with adapters you will need to use something like this adapter as seen in picture. Pictures shown are stock photos. Sometimes may be slight variations to the finish (lighter, darker, etc). All are high quality, high pressure brake adapters - perfect for your brake upgrade project or other plumbing project.

Size: 1/8-27 NPT Male > 7/16-24 Female (Inverted flare) HQ fitting. Read below for more details

Most aftermarket adjustable proportioning valve are not designed to bolt a brake line directly into it. Most will come with adapter fittings like this fitting. If your prop valve is missing the adapter fittings you will need an adapter fitting to properly connect a standard 1/4" tube - 7/16-24 SAE inverted flare brake fitting to it (common US threaded brake fitting).

The common thread size on most aftermarket adjustable prop valves is a 1/8-27 pipe thread fitting (NPT). If this is the thread size of your prop valve then this fitting will work and allow you to connect a standard 1/4" brake line to it. The female end of the adapter is a SAE 7/16-24 inverted flare fitting (SAE). This is the common size for some brake line tubing on some Mustang models through the 1990's. Most newer vehicles now use metric brake line fittings. Confirm what type of fittings you intend to connect your prop valve to before you make a purchase. If unsure consult a brake specialist.

It is a common upgrade on the Fox body Mustang owners upgrading to a 4 wheel - rear disc upgrade. Installing an adjustable proportioning valve will allow you to fine tune your front to rear bias (balance) by restricting the pressure to your rear brakes. Look for other hard to find SN95 Mustang upgrade items in my Ebay store. These are necessary when converting to larger front disc brake setup on the pre-1994 (1979-1993) Mustang when using the SN95 front spindles and rear disc conversions

Listing is for 1 adapter, order as many as you need. Most adjustable prop valves will need 2 adapters. This is a Male 1/8-27 (NPT) X Female 7/26-24 (SAE)  - M-F fitting.

Note on availability: We normally have a few available but they sometimes may sellout and need a few extra days before shipment.
