This is a new, unused item that has been mechanically etch-relict by Recaster in the UK.
Not a licensed product.
Gives a dramatic vintage look and feel.
Like the iconic 'L' jeans brand, this item is meant to continue to age.
The component is not lacquered and will develop patina. If you wish slow the aging process you should lacquer or otherwise seal the item. Stopping ferrous material from oxidising once it has been started is an age-old problem.
I make these in small batches so the exact patination may very, but the level of relicing: satinized rust as indicated in the pictures.
