Description:
King engine bearings are your best choice for standard or high performance engines. Their materials and technology assure that your standard replacement bearings will perform even better than the originals and when it comes to racing King has you covered with their HP and XP performance bearings. King HP bearings suit high-load, short-duration racing such as drag racing, tractor pulls, monster trucks etc or medium-load, long-duration racing such as circle track engines using nodular cast iron crankshafts. They are constructed from bi-metal aluminium silicon alloy featuring a fine micro-bore finish. King HP beariings feature a 0.015" thick top layer for superior macro particle embedability and conformability and 40 Vickers hardness to resist overlay migration and extrusion and a 450°F heat threshold for superior protection against friction and overheating. Mains are 3/4 grooved for improved oiling to the rod journals. King XP bearings suit high-load, long-duration racing such as circle track, off-road, off-shore, and others that require steel crankshafts. They are constructed from enhanced tri-metal copper lead with a nickel barrier and SecureBond adhesion and have a 15% - 30% greater load capacity than traditional bearings. The SecureBond unique adhesion process gives superior stability between the top and intermediate layers. A 0.0005" metallurgically enhanced and hardened performance overlay withstands greater loads and better resists surface fatigue. Mains are 1/2 grooved for uncompromised lower shell load capacity. Precision stocks a huge range of King standard replacment and high performance bearings to suit American, Australian and Japanese engines.
