Nikon EM 35MM Camera w/ 50MM, 35MM Lenses, MD-E Motor Drive, Case, Bag, Boxes + | |
| Condition | This camera and gear is in excellent working condition. The Nikon EM camera body is in excellent condition showing on ly dust and minor use scratches. There is on scratch on the upper flash mount side from the film rewinder knob as it contacts the side upon turning when fully extending. All features work fine and the battery is still good. Though I suspect it is dying (no corrosion in battery compartment though). When I look through the viewer I do see a couple if very tiny specs. Not sure if they are dust/debris and I don't have the proper brush or canned air to clean it. The body is sn# 6343022. It has a neck strap attached and comes with a Nikon leather? camera case. The case is in excellent shape and is still very functional with no fraying or drying. The case does have scrapes and scratches though. The body also comes with its original instruction book. The attached Nikon 50mm 1:1.8 Series E lens is too in excellent still functional shape. I see no scratches on the glass and the image (when attached to the body) is clear. It focuses and adjusts fine and comes with a Nikon cap. The lens is sn# 1388372. Also included is a Nikon 35mm 1:2.5 Series E lens. It is in excellent still functional shape. I see no scratches on the glass and the image (when attached to the body) is clear. It focuses and adjusts fine and comes with 2 Nikon caps. The lens is sn# 1786798 and it has a Rokunar IA 52mm filter attached. The lens comes with its original box and paperwork. The Nikon MD-E Motor Drive is in excellent condition and it still works. I put batteries in it and had a little fun with the camera sans film. It comes with original box and paperwork. It is sn# 2094316. Lastly, included is a COAST nylon camera bag. It is still in excellent usable condition with no rips or holes and is still quite functional. I hate to part with this vintage gear because, through it I have been able to show my kids that at one point in pre-history (you know back in the 1980's with the ancient Romans) people cared about the pics they took because they only had a certain amount before running out.
