Henry Wilkinson Ltd, Sheffield, silver plate, glass and
leather hip flask with detatchable base for cup, made between 1872 and 1892. Experts maybe able to date exactly from the
mark.
The flask weighs 250 grams and has a capacity of 1/3 gill
liquid. It measures 13cm tall including
lid and base and is 8cm wide.
Inside the screw collar of the lid, the glass appears
discoloured. Putting a finger inside the
top of the flask I cannot feel any chips so I figure it must be between the
outside of the glass and the screw collar.
I have tried to show this in a couple of pictures.
