This is a very nice, original US Post Office Street Letter Box Lock, numbered 55. This particular example has one of the best patina I've seen, it's a really deep aged brass patina which makes the lock look extra attractive. It is in excellent cosmetic condition but unfortunately does not have key. Great classic lock for your collection!
