Chop Source - Motorcycle Frame Jig Kit

The Full Frame Jig Kit includes all of the fixtures and hardware you need to get your table-top motorcycle frame jig (welding jig) started. You will receive everything shown in the first picture only.  You need to supply 17' of 2"x3" (1/8" wall) tubing and 6.5' of 2"x2" (1/8" wall) tubing for the jig to be assembled as shown. See the assembly instructions for more details. Structural tubing can be found at your local metal supply shop or welding/fabricating shop. The frame jig kit bolts together so you can easily reconfigure the jig or break it down to store or move. The neck fixture will accommodate rakes from 15 degrees to 60 degrees. All fixture plates are laser cut from 1/4" mild steel and are powder coated black.

The frame jig can be used with just about any motorcycle frame. For each frame you need to decide how to support the center of the frame. Use our adjustable width fixture (included), our center fixture (sold separately), or make your own. Some people lay a piece of tubing across the lower rails of the jig and clamp the frame directly to it. Some people make a center fixture using tubing and 2-peice shaft collars. If you're building a full frame on the jig, you'll also need to build fixtures for motor mounts and other parts of the frame. The fixtures in this kit will get you started and save a lot of time.
