EARLY WOOD PANTRY MEASURE

This is a nice old round bentwood pantry measure.

It is joined with thin wood lacing and wooden pegs at the bottom, although you cen see in the photos that a nail or two have been added.

The wood has a really beautiful grain. 

It has been cleaned and has a beautiful handrubbed waxed patina

This measure was used in a pantry for measuring and storing dry goods.

It is a very, very large size, measuring 14-1/2" in diameter X 14" tall.

It is still very solid so could be useful still as a storage container or magazine rack or to fill with seasonal decor.

A really great early original authentic piece to add to your collection or decor.
