The MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.7 15-Inch (Mid-2012/USB 3.0) features a 22 nm "Ivy Bridge" 2.7 GHz Intel "Core i7" processor (3820QM), with four independent processor "cores" on a single silicon chip, an 8 MB shared level 3 cache, 8 GB of 1600 MHz DDR3L SDRAM (PC3-12800) installed in pairs (two 4 GB modules), a 750 GB Serial ATA (5400 RPM) hard drive, an 8X DL "SuperDrive", dual graphics processors -- a NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1 GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory and an "integrated" Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics processor that shares system memory, as well as an integrated 720p FaceTime HD webcam. This model has an LED-backlit 15.4" widescreen TFT active-matrix "high-res" antiglare (matte) 1680x1050 display.
Connectivity includes AirPort Extreme (802.11a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet, a Firewire "800" port, two USB 3.0 ports, a "Thunderbolt" port, separate audio in and out ports, and an SDXC card slot.
This system also supports "Turbo Boost 2.0" -- which "automatically increases the speed of the active cores" to improve performance when needed (up to 3.7 GHz for this model) -- and "Hyper Threading" -- which allows the system to recognize eight total "cores" or "threads" (four real and four virtual).
Condition:
The MacBook is in very nice condition overall with a few minor cosmetic marks. The top cover has a couple tiny scuffs and a couple very small, light dings. There are some very small scratches and a very light ding on the bottom cover and it has a few tiny scratches/chips along the outer edges of the body. There is also a very light ding on the left-side edge of the bottom case which causes the bottom cover to stick up a very small amount (SEE PHOTO).
The MacBook runs great, everything works perfectly and the battery holds a good charge.
Operating System:
The MacBook Pro has a new install of OS X 10.13 High Sierra setup with an admin account. We will provide the buyer with the username and password. If you would like us to factory reset the OS for you, please message us directly after purchasing or leave us a note at checkout, otherwise it will be sent with the admin account we have setup.
Included:
Included with the MacBook is an OEM power adapter w/extension cord. It does not come with anything additional.
Shipping:
We will ship it fully insured via FedEx Ground/Home Delivery or USPS Priority Mail. It will be sent with a signature on delivery within 1 business day and send the buyer the tracking number. We have also added a few expedited FedEx Express shipping options.
Any item purchased by 2 P.M. Eastern Time on a business day will be shipped the same day. If it is purchased after that time it will be shipped the next business day.
