Gryffindor sword DIY kit

This object has played an important role in the Harry Potter movies

This is a DIY sword kit of a replica of the Gryffindor sword you saw in the Harry Potter movies.

Please pay attention this is only a kit, just a set of printed plastic parts unpainted. The kit contains the metal wire which required to make the sword strong enough to be hold. You have to build the sword yourself. We suggest you to use gilding, because the result is much better - if you have average dexterity this should be about 25-30 hours with gilding and all. The pictures of the actual sword are there for reference only.

The ready sword is about 85cm / 33½ inches long and 125 grams. Please be aware that the actual sword is more of a decoration than a toy, although it can be used as a toy if you use durable paint and you handle with care. Because of its made of plastic it cannot be sharp, but still can cause injuries and not suitable for children under 12.
