The dimple drilled rotor was invented by EBC back in the 90's and has been imitated by many because of its ability to offer pad degassing without through drilling disc or rotor holes which has been shown to promote rotor cracks. The wide aperture slots on the EBC Turbo Grooved Discs actually draw cool air under the brake pad and rotor interface and help cool the temperatures of the pad contact which can shoot up to well over 1000 degrees at the very heart of the brake pad during heavy braking and can cause brake fade or loss of brake effect.
These "Full Sweep" slots also help remove dirt, dust, debris and water from the braking area, but without doubt the main benefit of such sport rotors is their ability to maintain a flat and parallel pad surface throughout the lifetime of the brake pad set.
Recent European R90 brake safety legislation insists on a very aggressive stress test of all replacement brake rotors. EBC rotors have passed this test and in the case of the Turbo Grooved design, the brakes were shown to run 100 degrees F cooler than non slotted rotors proving their long made claims that EBC Turbo Grooved Discs run COOLER!

EBC Redstuff Ceramic Brake Pads are a mid-level street upgrade for higher powered and heavier hatchbacks, saloons and estates up to around 250BHP. They do however have a harder compound and therefore take longer to fully bed in to achieve their highest levels of performance (can be up to 1000 miles urban use)
EBC Brakes is proud to bring you with this new EBC Redstuff blend what is probably a world first in a pad that is almost dust free yet delivers performance braking. Less dust also means less rotor wear and it is almost guaranteed that your rotors will last double as long as when used with the more abrasive steel fibre brake compounds used by almost all of the competition.
EBC Redstuff should be used at both front and rear for optimum balanced brake performance. Tested at the UK Motor Industries Research Association (MIRA) in witnessed tests early Redstuff Brake Pads reduced car stopping distance in tests by almost 50 feet from 100 MPH offering a staggering 30% brake improvement.

Shipping

We ship worldwide. If the shipping charge is not automatically filled in for you, please contact us and we will happily quote you. Note that we cannot send items abroad using non tracked, uninsured mail any more, due to unacceptable level of losses. Quotes will therefore always be for an insured courier, or tracked post, depending on the weight and value of the item.

For items that are being sent within the UK via 2nd class post, please allow 3-5 days from the date of dispatch before contacting us. You will usually be advised when items have been dispatched via the EBay email service.

Please note that when working out how long it will take for items to arrive, you must add together the time to dispatch and the shipping time, as not all items can be dispatched the same day you order them. We will have entered an approximate dispatch time on each listing. EBay should work out the approximate date of receipt for you, based on both the dispatch time and the delivery time.

For all items that are sent via courier, you should be able to track your own parcel using the tracking number that we enter at the point of dispatch

Note that for items sent out via courier, all of the following post codes are classes as premium areas, and as such will generally incur a £20 courier charge, instead of the usual UK Mainland Charge.

Returns

If you would like to return an item that you have purchased from Larkspeed, you must contact us prior to sending the item back in order that we can authorise the return and advise the best address to return it to.

You have 14 days from the date of receipt in which to return your item. Goods must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect "as new" condition, in order to qualify for a refund.

If an item is faulty, or has been sent incorrectly by fault of Larkspeed, then we will reimburse the full price paid including any shipping. However if you have ordered the wrong part, or simply do not require the item any more, then you will be refunded minus our shipping charges, and minus any applicable handling charge.

Handling charges may apply on certain items which are made to order specially for you by our suppliers, such as Piper Exhausts and Clutches.
