Our professional quality balloons are suitable for helium or air inflation. If you want the balloons to 'float' you will need to fill them with helium gas (as helium is lighter than air, enabling them to rise). Most high street party shops offer a balloon inflation service. We recommend filling balloons with helium on the same day that you plan to use them to ensure maximum buoyancy. 

If you plan to fill the balloons further in advance, there is a product called Hi-float which can be squirted into the balloons before inflating with helium which will enable them to stay afloat for up to 25 times longer. You can buy bottles of Hi-float on eBay or ask your balloon shop to use it before inflation.

Please take care not to over-inflate balloons as this could cause them to pop. If filling with air, we recommend using a hand pump rather than inflating by mouth. Adults should inflate balloons and supervise children under 8 years old. Not suitable for children under 3 years old. Always dispose of balloons responsibly and only use biodegradable string and compostable seals with your balloons.
