Nikon D90 665nm ENHANCED COLOR Infrared converted camera with HD video

Infrared photography opens up an unseen world of beauty and never-ending surprise.  Up for bid is a Nikon D90.  The internal IR cut filter has been removed and replaced with a 665nm longpass filter.  This filter blocks most visible light and allows near IR and IR light to be recorded by the sensor.

The results?  You’ll have a camera that will capture infrared images without the need for long exposures or the need for a tripod. With the 665nm filter in place, this camera is a more sensitive to visible light in the red spectrum versus a standard 720nm IR camera.  The results are nice color saturation and range with the preserved ability to capture standard IR images by converting to B+W using software or the D90's built in B+W mode.

With ergonomic controls and comfortable rubberized grips,  The D90 it will accept all Nikkor AF lenses.  The camera sports 12.3MP and 4.5fps continuous shooting mode for easy handheld HDR. Live view on the bright 3" LCD helps with the guesswork that's sometimes required with IR photography.

The first picture in my listing show what the image looks once it has been post processed for false color IR.  Images can be converted to black and white as well.  Included on the CD that will be sent is a tutorial on how to do false color IR this as well as the software to do it.

The camera’s condition:  The camera is mechanically perfect.   All buttons switches and knobs have been tested and work smoothly.  The viewfinder is clear.  The LCD has no dead pixels.  Couple of tiny marks on the rear LCD display which are difficult to photograph. Cosmetically, the body’s condition is average for a camera of its age with no distractions/eyesores (please see my pictures as they are my description).  The autofocus has been adjusted and tested and is GUARANTEED f/1.8 sharp with the 50mm f/1.8G and will likely perform similarly with other Nikkor lenses. If you have an esoteric lens you wish the camera calibrated to, just ask.
