This handcrafted Solid Copper Ring features a northwest native inspired Eagle design.
The etched solid copper ring measures 5/16" wide tapering to 1/8" at each end. The inside measurement is 2 1/2" around when closed and is Adjustable to fit average size fingers. (Approximately Size 6 1/2 to 9)
The band of the ring is shiny copper outlined on both sides with gold plating.
Our etched copper rings are handmade from 100% solid copper. They are nickel and lead free. Rest assured that they will provide the maximum benefit for arthritis pain relief.
How to Care for Copper
Copper oxidizes when exposed to air and turns a patina green which can leave a stain on the skin. A protective coating has been applied to the copper jewelry to help prevent this from happening. Because some people have more acid in their system, this coating may wear off quickly. Others can wear it for a long time with no cleaning or polishing required.
If the copper tarnishes, we recommend first cleaning it with a jewelry cleaning cloth. Next apply an acrylic spray sealant which is available inexpensively from most hardware stores. This method is used in many jewelry craft books to prevent oxidization.
Storing your copper jewelry in a sealed zip plastic bag when not being worn will also retard oxidization. An anti-tarnish carbon strip provides additional protection against tarnishing and damaging elements in the air.
