The Livewell Shopper has many features generally only found on more expensive models. There is a 270w motor, powered by 2 x 10AH batteries that enable this scooter to carry a total weight of 265 lbs (19 stone). The Shopper has on-board charging, this just requires you to plug the scooter into any standard electrical socket. On the dashboard, there is a battery level indicator for when you are out and about, and lights to tell you the state of charging when plugged into an electrical socket.

The speed is controlled by a simple dial on the dashboard.

Forwards and backwards motions are controlled through wig-wag paddles, to stop you simply release the throttle, this will automatically return the paddle to the centre position, and the scooter will come to a stop. Once stopped there is an automatic park brake that activates and locks the drive wheels in place.

There is a freewheeling release lever; this allows you to move the scooter about when the battery is flat, or for manoeuvring in small spaces.

Not only does this scooter seat have arms (unlike many at this price), the width, height, and angle of the arms can also be adjusted, as well as flipped up, (to make transfers on and off easier).

There is a large easy to hold and locate key that easily pushes into place when you want to drive. When removed the scooter will not drive, ideal for when you want to leave it outside smaller shops or stop children playing with it when your back is turned!

Other features include anti-tip wheels for safety, a removable front basket and solid, virtually, maintenance free, puncture proof tires.
