- This is a beautiful automatic movement wittnauer wach with rare cross hairs silver dial circa 1960's. Its original high grade 17 jewel marked 11SN automatic movement is in excellent condition, keeps accurate time, and sets perfectly. The plain subtly waved hallmarked case back clearly displays longines wittnauer 10K G.F. (gold filled) engraving. Case dimensions are 34 mm diameter wide not including the crown, 40 mm from lug end to lug end, and 18 mm between the lugs. The like new water resistant Speidel brown leather band will comfortably fit up to an 8 inch diameter wrist. The crystal is new and has no scratches. The case and crown have no dings or scratches and the case back has one tiny scratch you have to look close to even see. Longines has an over 125 year history with Wittnauer and has supplied them with their watch movements. Longines bought Wittnauer in 1950 and began making watches under both names. Box pictured is for display purposes only and not included.
