Antique Black Forest Germany Hunter Theme Cuckoo Clock Wooden Hand Carved OLD #3. Wooden hard carved bird is hand painted with fixed wings. Dial face is wooden but the Roman numerals are plastic. Cast iron corn husk weights. Wooden hand carved pendulum. No bellows inside (not that kind of design), just the coiled wire gong style chime.
This is a small project or just to hang and enjoy.
Bought this in Belgium from a clock smith. Gears not locked up. Should work if fixed some, but not tested.
Measures: 22 inches long (from bottom of wooden hunters leather bad to the top of the deers head) 12 wide at widest point.
Condition: Deer Antlers are missing. One chains is very short and not original nor the hook. Missing hands and some roman numeral dials. Part of the pendulum wooden length is missing. What I gave with it may not be original. Some dirt and mold inside. May be missing the gong hammer. Needs some work.
