Item:  SIMPLEX SPEAKER

Description:   For Sale is a Vintage "SIMPLEX" Brand Drive-In Movie Theater Automobile Speaker.  I'm not positive, but I believe this one dates from Late 1960's/Early 1970's at the latest.  I got this from the Original Owner who told me it was from the Drive-In Theater that used to exist in Paramus, New Jersey.   I'm assuming this Made of Aluminum.  There is nothing else written on it except for the Simplex Brand.  There is a Volume Knob of course that does indeed rotate.  Its dimensions are: 6.5" tall, 4.75" wide, and 5.25" deep.   On the Wire Insulation I just noticed it reads "Drive-In Movie Theater MFG Co. Kansas City Kansas Geoprene".  I am sure my photos will best further describe this item. 

Condition:   On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidently grade this item's condition to be a solid 8.   Overall and Especially for being 40+ Years Old, this Retro Speaker is in Very Good VISUAL Condition.  Like basically all of these it is being sold UNTESTED & AS-IS.  It has a Cut Wire which is actually in Great Condition.   The Speaker itself has Absolutely ZERO Dents/Dings and is No Less than 85% Immaculate.  I don't sell dirty items from my shop.  By "Immaculate" I mean if it can be cleaned, it has been cleaned.  That does not mean it's spotless though.   It does have its share of small scuffs/scratches but certainly nothing extreme.  My photos are an accurate depiction of this item's TRUE Condition.  

All  Shipments automatically come with Free Tracking.  Priority Shipments come with $50 Insurance.  The USPS Tracking# will be entered into the listing immediately after I ship your package. 

Shipping is based SOLELY on Dimensions of Packed Item & Buyer's Zip Code.  I am totally against profiting on shipping. 

Shipping:  90% of all items will be shipped in 36hrs or less (usually the same/next day) unless the item is paid for on a Saturday.  The Post Office is closed on Sunday so shipping will begin again on Monday.  No international shipping unless done through Ebay's Global Shipping Program. 

Returns:  Returns are accepted if the item is not as described or something happens to the item during shipment.   Returns due to negligence on my part will have shipping refunded and return shipping paid for as well.  I think that is only fair.

TERMS:   The buyer will please contact me within 3 days either with payment or notification as to when payment will be sent.  Payment must be received within 5 days after the auction ends.  Insurance will be included on breakable or valuable items ($40 or higher), or if requested prior to payment.   I highly suggest you choose expedited shipping on fragile items.  The shorter amount of time it is in the Postal System, the better chance it will arrive safely.  I pack each item as if it is the "Holy Grail" but accidents do happen from time to time.   By purchasing this item, you are agreeing to take photos of the item and the box if it arrives damaged.  I need those photos for Postal Insurance Claims.  The Tracking # will be added to the listing as soon as I return home from shipping the item.
