Many home appliances these days come with IR remote controls (such

as lights, fans, electric heaters, toys, remote controlled switches,

and power outlets) but often times these Remote Controls get damaged

or lost. This unit can learn the IR Coded Signals from those units and

be used as an additional remote control for them, or be used as a

replacement for them should they get lost or damaged. Most other

Universal Remote Controls can't be used this way since they don't have

the learning ability this one has.
