This wonderful Staffordshire Enamels box is a red Chinese or Japanese lantern, decorated with gold palm leaf fronds and butterflies.  Each end is gold with a border of Japanese garden arches called toriis.  It has a diameter of 1.3" with a height of 2.2".  Inside is : "Staffordshire Enamels - Made in England - Hand Painted" with the artist's initials.  It comes with the presentation case and information pamphlet.  PLEASE CHECK MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE BOXES - I'LL BE LISTING  ADDITIONAL ONES LATER IN THE WEEK.   PLEASE CHECK BACK OFTEN.
