This is a nice large medal for Professor Dr. Victor Babes of Romania for the 1962 international Pathology/Infection congress in Bucharest - signed by "I. Jalea" on front. It is 70mm in diameter and appears to be silver gilt on bronze. (may have had lacquer applied also) It has a plain edge without marks - see scan for details.
