Motocat Ltd is a small company established in 2015 and as such we want to work with bikes we have a real passion for which is why we specialise in classic Suzuki GSXR's.

We have a wide range of used parts, breaking bikes from 1985 to 2003.

We also carry an expanding range of new parts for your GSXR and want you to be able to find what you're looking for easily and quickly with as keen a price as possible.

Shipping

We aim to ship the same working day if the order is placed before 1.00pm once the payment has cleared. Otherwise we will ship the next working day which includes Saturdays.

All used parts are held in stock as are most new parts. However, please be aware that certain items are held by our suppliers and these items will take approximately 3-7 working days to be delivered.
Please ensure you have checked the estimated delivery time for the item purchased.

PLEASE NOTE: Royal Mail state that items sent First or Second Class can take up to a maximum of 14 working days to be delivered. Therefore, if your item has been dispatched using Royal Mail please allow 14 working days for delivery before raising a claim with us.

As we use couriers and the Royal Mail we cannot be held responsible for damages or delays caused in transit beyond our control.
However, if any item is not as expected (damaged, lost in transit or supplied incorrectly) please contact us as soon as you can so that we can put it right ASAP.
We can replace the item if we have another in stock or issue a full refund.

Terms & Conditions

1. General

1.1 It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you make a purchase from Motocat Ltd on ebay and your continued use of Motocat Ltd on eBay shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.

1.2 All orders that you place through our eBay store that are accepted by us are subject to the following terms and conditions. Acceptance of your order and the commencement of the contract between you and us will take place on despatch of the goods to you.

2. Ordering

2.1 Before purchase, you must satisfied that the part identified via the product page actually corresponds to the part searched for and is suitable for the relevant vehicle.

2.2 Whilst we use our best endeavours to fulfil orders made by you, we will not be liable for any failure in the performance of any of our obligations to you caused by factors outside our control including (without limitation) strikes, lockouts, shipping delays, fire, war, etc. In such an event you will have no claim against us for any loss or damage which may result.

2.3 The 'checkout' stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this, eBay will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from us.

2.4 Acceptance of your order and the commencement of the contract between you and us will take place on despatch to you of the products ordered; unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled it (please refer to Returns and Refunds). For orders that are being collected in person, commencement of the contract between you and us will take place when the products ordered have been collected by you.

3. Stock Availability

3.1 All products displayed on our eBay store are shown with a stock status, we will endeavour to ensure these are accurate but on the rare occasion they may be incorrect. If a product is displayed as “in stock” it means the product should be in stock at our premises or with our supplier, it does not mean that the product is in stock and is available immediately for collection or dispatch.

4. Delivery & Retention of title

4.1 Time of delivery will not be of the essence and any delivery date/timescale is an estimate only. We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales; however, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver the products within estimated timescales. You will have the right to cancel any order without liability to us if delivery has not taken place more than 20 days late after the item has been dispatched.

4.2 Delivery will be made by one of the following couriers, Royal Mail, Parcelforce or Hermes, on the odd occasion your order may be dispatched directly from our supplier using their chosen courier.

4.3 Any parcels returned to us by the courier as “undeliverable” will not be re-dispatched and a full refund will be issued, excluding delivery costs. If the items returned to us as “undeliverable” are still required by you, then you will need to place a new order for the goods returned.

Reasons for a parcel to be returned as undeliverable:

Incorrect address. If the address is incorrect or outdated the parcel will typically be returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please double-check the address carefully when placing your order, we cannot amend orders submitted by you-this is an ebay policy.

Failed delivery attempts. Most couriers will make more than one attempt to deliver a parcel. If they find that they can't successfully deliver your parcel it'll be returned to us.

Parcel not collected. In most cases, if no one is in at the delivery address to receive the parcel, the parcel will be stored at the addressee’s local depot awaiting collection. If the addressee fails to collect their parcel from their local depot then the parcel will eventually be returned to us.

4.4 Title to any products you order on our eBay store shall pass to you on delivery of the products provided that we have processed and received payment in full for the products. For collections, the title to products shall pass to you once the goods have been handed over to you in store.

4.5 Any claim that any goods have been delivered damaged or do not materially comply with their description will be notified by you to us within 7 days of their delivery. Provided that you return such goods to us within a further 14 days after notification, we will at our sole discretion replace such goods or refund the price paid for such goods. The provisions of this clause set out your sole remedy in such circumstances.

4.6 Any claim that goods have not been delivered to you by us must be notified by you to us within 20 days of their dispatch date.

4.7 If you fail to take delivery of any goods then we will be entitled to cancel or suspend such delivery and all other outstanding deliveries and to charge you for the loss suffered. It is your responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept the expected parcel upon delivery.

5. Prices

5.1 All prices are shown in £s sterling and include VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rates.

5.2 Whilst we endeavour to adhere to our published prices we reserve the right to amend them. If we discover an error in the price of goods ordered or reserved, we will inform you as soon as possible (e.g. prior to the goods being despatched or in store prior to the collection of the goods). We will provide you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you choose to cancel and have already paid for the goods you will receive a full refund.

6. Payment

6.1 We take payment from your card at the time we receive your order. Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.

6.2 If, in our opinion, any person or persons, whether acting on behalf of themselves or a business, engages in practices that call into question the fair use of ordering from us, we reserve the right to cancel orders / collections and / or to refuse future custom from that person or persons. Examples of such activity may include placing significant numbers of orders to be collected where the goods are not subsequently collected, placing significant numbers of orders to be collected for the same product without them being subsequently collected and other activity that may cause us to question their behaviour. This list is not exhaustive.

6.3 We accept payment from the cards displayed on our eBay store header.

7. Returns, Cancellations and Substitutions

7.1 Goods may only be returned with our prior written authorisation and we reserve the right to deduct the appropriate handling charges. Please refer to Refunds and Returns section to see instructions and more information on how to return your item.

7.2 All items must be returned in their original condition within their original undamaged/clean packaging. In the unlikely event that you receive faulty or damaged goods, please refer to our Returns and refunds section.

7.3 Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a similar alternative. We may experience problems with the supply of certain products and may therefore supply a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement or substitute you can return it in accordance with our returns policy.

8. Product Information

8.1 All sizes and measurements are approximate but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible.

8.2 Any application lists, catalogues, descriptions, information or advice provided by us in respect of goods is as accurate as possible although is for illustrative purposes only. In all instances it is your responsibility to assure yourself that the parts supplied are suitable for the application involved. It is essential that you use the OEM part numbers displayed in the listings by matching it with the number on the old part (if the part is original equipment) or by matching it with intended parts OEM number provided by the car parts department at your main dealer.

8.3 Goods supplied will conform in all material respects to their description or to any sample or specification provided to and accepted by us. We reserve the right to amend any design or specification without prior notification provided that it does not adversely affect the performance of the goods.

9. Infringement & Intellectual property

9.1 We cannot be held responsible for any infringement of patent or copyright on the part of our suppliers or customers in the event of parts being supplied to their design.

9.2 You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within our eBay store is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may only download such material and content for the purpose of using this website. You further acknowledge that any other use of the material and content of this website is strictly prohibited and you agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.

9.3 The data shown here on our eBay store, specifically the entire database, must not be copied. It is not permitted to copy or distribute the data or the entire database without prior written consent from us.

10. Guarantee

10.1 All products are supplied and guaranteed by the manufacturers specifications. Any item which is proved and admitted by the manufacturer to be defective during the relevant warranty period due to material or structural defect will be replaced free of charge or credited in full at our discretion. Under no circumstances will we accept liability for damage or pay for any repairs or alterations. In the event of a guarantee claim, notification must be both verbal and written immediately a fault is discovered. You must provide full particulars to enable us to verify the claim. Parts must be returned to us accompanied by the appropriate paperwork, carriage paid for dependant on the results of the inspection by us or manufacturer.

10.2 We shall have no liability to you in respect of any defect arising from wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, tampering of goods, incorrect fitting or incorrect ordering of goods or failing to follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

11. Consumer rights in accordance to Distance Selling Regulations

11.1 In accordance to the distance selling regulations you may cancel a contract at any time within 14 days, beginning on the day after you receive the goods (the ‘cooling off period’). If you want to cancel the contract within the cooling-off period a refund (or if you require, a replacement) will be provided in accordance with out refunds policy.

11.2 To cancel an order under this contract you must inform us in writing, and return the goods to us in the same condition in which you received them with the original packaging and the product documentation, and at your own cost and risk. The goods must not be used and, where applicable, must not have been removed from the sealed clear packaging; and provide proof of purchase in the form of our invoice for the original supply of such goods with the returns section completed.

Returns

We strive very hard to ensure your purchases leave us well packed and in good order. However, customer satisfaction is paramount and if you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase you can return the item and receive a full refund within 30 days from when you receive the item.

We will always accept returns if the item was received damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied.

Refunds for goods is conditional upon items being received back into our stock in the same condition as originally supplied, notwithstanding damage incurred during transit.

Postage costs (both to the customer and their return costs) will only be refunded if the item was received damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied.

If you decide you no longer need the goods then you will have to cover the cost of the return postage.

If the above conditions are not met any return or refund is at our sole discretion.

Proof of postage is not proof of delivery, so all items must be returned using a delivery service that requires a signature upon receipt.
