The Nikon Zoom-Nikkor 80-200mm f/4 Ai-S lens was released in 1981 and produced until 1998.

It is generally considered to be Nikon's best manual focus telephoto zoom lens (see Ken Rockwell's review).

This lens is extremely sharp and contrasty at all focal  lengths and aperture settings.

This example, s/n 238198, is in excellent condition.  There are some minor stray marks on the black finish from normal use.

Glass elements are clean and clear: no fungus, haze, scratches or cleaning marks.  There are a few tiny dust specks interiorly, which is typical for any zoom lens.

Diaphragm blades are clean, dry and snappy.

Focusing and zoom action are smooth and precise.  Aperture ring turns easily with crisp,  metallic clicks.

Lens comes with Nikon front and rear caps, and a Nikon HN-23 metal, screw-on lens hood in excellent condition.

Finally, I am including a Hoya 62mm skylight filter for added protection.

I have used this lens on my F3, F100 and D750 with excellent results.

This lens WILL work on ALL Nikon 35mm film SLR bodies.

It will work on full-frame DSLRs, but will NOT work on the D3000, D5000, D7000 series DSLRs, or D90, D100, etc.

Please check the lens compatibility chart in your camera's instruction manual.

Returnable only if not as described.
