Can Opener Directions: open blade. Attach to top of can lip with cutting blade laying against the lid. Twist down to puncture can inside the rim. Cut top by advancing opener around the outside of the can.

Sterilize opener before reuse:

The hole in the can opener is designed to use it to be hung on a string or chain. This can be boiled to sterilize with mess gear. When boiling water is unavailable clean opener as thoroughly as possible and hold cutting blade over a match flame a few seconds immediately before use.

Great tool to carry around on key ring. Make sure the blade is shut. Great item to always have in the glove box in the car, camping, in your emergency kit medical and food, works on plastic packaging, opening chip bags across the top, make sure to have a few if the power goes out.
