Vintage circa 1975 Matsumoku V-1400 style version of the Gibson Barney Kessel == Logo badge missing but undoubtedly a Mats build == Beautifully made huge Jazz Archtop -- 16 7/8" wide and a full 3 3/8" at rims -- but with a fairly narrow 1 3/4" neck and 24 1/2" scale == VG+ or better condition with light wear -- pickups have bubbling, patina on other metal parts (except tuners which are newer and more appropriate Kluson-style keystone gold tuners) == "Lawsuit" open-book headstock dates this pre-1977, quality dates this to the height of the "copy" era 1974-1976 == Plays great -- straight neck, action is just under 1/8" at 12th fret low E and 3/32" high E == Electronics working properly -- I did replace the faulty 3-way switch with a new Gibson-style switch == Fresh strings == This is a high quality guitar == Sorry, no case -- we will double-box for shipping ==
