Adjustable Temperature Heated Grips 5 Stage

Heated Grips make a huge difference during winter or cold morning commutes. Numb hands reduce our responsiveness causing clutch, brake and throttle control to reduce. With 5 temperature setting you can adjust the heated grips with the click of a button keeping you warm and safely in control of your motorcycle or scooter.

  • Grips are open ended to allow hand guards, bar end weights and lever guards to be used.
  • Blanking caps are also supplied if you wish to have closed ends.
  • Control switch can be mounted to the handlebars or fixed to panels with adhesive strip supplied.
  • The rubber compound is resistant to all weather conditions.
  • 12 V power supply
  • 120mm overall grip length with inside diameter of left grip 22mm and right grip 25mm.
Fitment

  1. Fit the grips onto the handlebars rotating them so they dont make contact with the levers. Make sure the right hand grip does not contact the lever when twisting the throttle. Once you find a position you are happy with remove one grip at a time and insert the glue into the grip, slide the grip back into position and allow to set.
  2. Run the wires from the grips along the handlebars and cable tying the wires as you go making sure you do not over tighten them. Do not cable tie the wire on the throttle side near the grip as it will make the throttle hard to twist if at all possible.
  3. Continue to route the wires along the head stock and under the tank, avoiding hot parts of the engine and making sure the wires do not pull on the throttle or clutch cables.
  4. Connect the second half of the wiring to the wires from the heated grips. Once you have reached the battery simply connect the black wire to the earth/negative side. Wire the positive wire into a live feed after the ignition is switched on therefore avoiding the possibility of draining the battery if you accidentally leave the heated grips turned on. Usually the easiest live wire to choose is the rear brake light switch.
