Up for auction from an estate is a rare and unusual McIntyre system clarinet.  This is not a wood clarinet although I could find no confirmation that McIntyre made composition instruments.  Its serial number is 3006.  The pads are in fair shape, and the sections are air tight and do not leak.  The McIntyre mechanism works properly and is playable as is.  There is condition issue that I am not going try to fix.  The bell is stuck to the bottom section and I cannot remove it with reasonable force so it is being sold with this issue.
