The Denon PMA720AE is a traditional stereo integrated amplifier that uses key design elements from Denon's range-topping electronics, putting its European-tuned sound quality before any unnecessary features. The build and finish place this amp firmly in the first division.
What this means for the listener is delicate musical detail supported by plenty of power. AHC transistors with up to three times the current supply of conventional power transistors for audio are allied to circuitry inherited from high-end models. The main power transformer has separate coiled wires for the audio and control circuits. Separate power supplies and a divided circuit layout work together to eliminate electrical interference and preserve sound quality, further enhanced by the vibration-resistant chassis design with high-quality speaker terminals.
In addition to improved sound quality, the PMA720AE majors on ease of use. Five sets of phono inputs look after sources such as CD and tuner - and there is also a moving magnet stage for connecting a turntable. For uncompromising sound quality and top-notch build, this Denon integrated amp is hard to beat!
