Tang was very fond of their horses.  This is an older Beijing #1 cloisonné horse.

Think I will throw in a bit of history….Tang won trade negotiations with British diplomats.  The contest???  Polo!  The Brits lost to the Tang concubines!  Yes…the Tang men were losing; the concubines mounted and won!

This is an old item ~ can tell by the making.  Beijing #1 cloisonné, gold gilt and comes with a good aftermarket stand.

The horse measures 4-3/4” high, 6” across, 2” wide on stand.
