Empress Marie Louise Plate

This is a probably early 20th century Austrian plate with a portrait of Marie Louise, Archduchess of Austrian and 2nd wife of Napoleon. She was empress of the French from 1810 to 1814 and after his banishment, the Duchess of Palma and several others duchies until her death in 1847. Dish measures about 9¾ inches, has gilt decoration, the blue "beehive" and double-eagle shield hallmarks. It is incised with faint 00 numbers. Much of this pottery is known as "Royal Viennese," although there doesn't appear to be such a maker.

Plate is in good condition -- it has a crack mark on back edge which doesn't appear to go through to the front. There are a couple of little scratches or imperfections on face of portrait. There are no chips or fleabites, but some spots and little imperfections from firing. See closeups. Gold rim and inner rim are a little rubbed, but not too badly (please scroll down for additional photos)
