You are viewing a women's PLUS SIZE jacket/coat by TALBOT WOMAN labeled size 20W, which usually equals about a size 1X, 2X, to 3X. NOTE- Sizes vary by style, season, and manufacturer. Please review measurements below carefully and ask any questions about fit or anything else BEFORE bidding. This is a GORGEOUS piece done in solid purple (reddish hue like wine), not grape purple (like Barney). The jacket has a pointed collar and 5 matching-colored buttons, please see pics. The US quarters seen in the pics are to show the size & scale of the details and are not included in the auction. The chest area has horizontal piping across with 2 faux (false) envelope flap pockets attached underneath. The jacket has 2 real lower front pockets; each with a button-style envelope flap and a wide vertical flat pleat. Each bottom sleeve has an oversized 3-button cuff, please see pics & measurements. The back of the jacket has a slightly pointed horizontal seam between the shoulder blades; and a vertical seam going down each shoulder blade (2 vertical seams total). The good-quality velvet is sturdy with a fair amount of stretch to it. The coat is in PERFECT pre-owned CONDITION with no flaws noted. No rips, no stains, no snags, no pilling, no odors, no wear noted. It was worn 2-3 times, then gently laundered per manufacturer's instructions. 97% Cotton; 3% Spandex. Smoke-free home. The total length of the jacket measured from top shoulder to bottom hem is 30".
The length of the jacket measured down the side from armpit to bottom hem is 16 1/2".
The inner sleeve length measured from armpit to bottom of sleeve cuff is 18".
Each sleeve cuff measures 12" unstretched; fully stretching to 15".
The sweep of the bottom hem is 49" unstretched; fully stretching to 66".

ABOUT ME- I discovered eBay many years ago when I had weight loss surgery. I needed quality, cost-friendly clothing for my quickly-shrinking body. My family & friends were kind enough to give me lots of nice clothing, but there's nothing like picking out your own things in your color, flattering fit, etc. I love shopping on eBay and decided to try selling their finer quality things that weren't being utilized. My extended family includes many fashion-conscious women (and their husbands/boyfriends/girlfriends, children, teens, friends etc) of many sizes, ages & tastes who update their wardrobes frequently, but are not so good about returning the things they don't wear and/or cleaning closets. Much of the clothing is sitting in closets, bins, etc untouched & worn only a time or two; some of the clothing is even new with/without tags. I try to offer quality new and used clothing in the condition that I would expect them in, and I try to describe them as accurately as possible. Our large group of family & friends gets together once a year for a reunion, and they know better than to attend without bringing a good-quality bag of clothes, lol.
