365nm wavelength uv torches not visible to naked eye as much as 395nm torches 

as 365nm  wavelength produce less light almost like white, but the devils is in the details, as you 

shine on to any bank notes you will clearly see the hidden details ,but ideal room condition is close to dark 

395nm torches are produce more purple lights but not much clear details as 365nm

 

when you buy 365nm torches please do not expect huge purple lights as they won't produce because of its different wavelength,please use them in dark conditions,you will see 

all the details and bright colors 

for example if you want to do a urine detection,in a dark room 395nm would give out too much purple light, you can kind a tell whereabouts with blurry vision 

but in same dark condition with 365nm you can see in colors and with more details 

if  would give an example; 395nm is trying to read something without reading glasses,in same example 365nm  would be your reading glasses with details and clarity

personal recommendation minimum 5v or 10v for detailed work 

but if you just want to use for daily use money checking etc go for the cheapest one
