Clutch thrust washer Original Triumph & BSA part number 57-3931
This thrust washer CAN (subject to below) also replace and is an
improvement, on the problematic early twin tanged thrust
washer which used to cause clutch problems when
the tangs broke off !!
It can only be used on earlier models 1963 to 1968
if you have the later type clutch hub
T3929 same as 57-3929.

This shows the proud shouldered part of the hub, and the perfect
fit of the thrust washer in the recess on the hub.
Additional pictures show that both types of thrust washer are
dimensionally identical.
The last picture shows that the earlier "Tanged" washer will not
fit on the later hub, and Vice Versa.

(The "Tanged" type thrust washer was fitted to larger capacity 3 spring clutches
TRIUMPH & BSA circa 1963 to 1967/68 pt no 57-1735)
These Thrust washers on sale were "Made in England" for Triumph
and BSA by Vandervell and/or Glacier Bearings Companies.
See the original manufacturers logos on the back of these
original clutch thrust washers.
Fitting instructions: Bronze side of thrust washer goes against
the clutch drum.
Buy now while these new original NOS parts are still available.
Approx Dimensions:
Outside Diameter OD = 66.5 mm 2.62" inches
Inside Diameter ID = 51.23 mm 2.017" inches
Thickness = 1.41 mm 0.055" inches
Thrust washers were NOT fitted to Early Triumph/BSA Models,
including pre-unit, with FOUR 4 Spring clutches.
These Thrust washers were NOT fitted to Triples, T150/T160/ R3
(See my other listings thrust washer + rollers for more information.)
