Product Description:

The PMC-20S is a 3 channel mixer (mic + 2 channels) and has the same mixing facilities as the PMC-20, together with newly designed high-quality digital sampler/delay. This responds to the growing demand from the DJ for new techniques and better, easier performance. The digital sampler is so flexible that it can fulfill most DJ’s demands. The sampler can be used as a 2 second sampler with 4 banks, 4 second sampler with 2 banks, or 8 second sampler with 1 bank. Of course, it’s range, sound quality and low noise are of prime concern. The sampler circuitry can also be used as a 2 second digital delay. A selector switch is fitted for sampler or delay. The PMC-20S has two memory circuits for sampler and delay so that sampled sounds will not be erased if you change to delay and return to the sampler mode as long as the power stays on.

Product Features:

• Built-In Exciter – This gives psycho-acoustic effects and enhances the sound by adding high harmonic elements to the original sound. Old records can thus have the sound quality of new records. Exciter circuitry in the PMC-20S is manufactured under license from Aphex Systems Ltd.

• Newly Developed Transformer Switch – “Crossfader cancel system” makes transformer scratching quicker and more timely. Furthermore, transformer scratching with the input selector switch is made easier by their panel position.

• Detachable Crossfader – Vestax made the world’s first detachable crossfader cartridge system with the PMC-30. The PMC-20 is factory fitted with a 45mm stroke crossfader, (CF-20R). An optional 20mm stroke (CF-20S) is available and can be user fitted.

• Dual Master Output Control – There are two output level controls both feeding separate jack outputs. These may be used for different sound zones. Also one pair may be used for recording. A balance control is provided for each master output to enable balancing L/R speakers in various sound stages.

• Effect Capability – Effect send switches are provided for each program so that effects can be processed instantly source by source. There are also effect send and effect receive (mix) level controls located in the master section for correct effect level setting at any time.

• Selectable Meters – The LED Bargraph meters can be selected to indicate between output level (Master 1 L/R), and input level (PGM B & C). This enables you to check not only the output level but also to balance BPM by sight.
