Vintage and rare Italian doll by Ratti. Beginning 60s .
This doll was very popular in Norway in 1960-1970.Her Norwegian(and Scandinavian) name is Tjorven.She cames in light, dark and brown haircolors (and som other nuances), both long(most commond) or short hair. And with orange pigtailes(Pippi). She is very popular among collektors in Norway and Denmark today.A perfect dark hair specimen can achieve over 1600,- Norwegian Kroner, over 250 dollar, in auction.
This model has some reparation (look at the pictures)
She is 30 cm tall, she has voluminous brown hair, sleeping/open eyes and “real” eyelashes.
She has her own original outfit but without shoes..
Her mouth is molded in the open position, and her painted teeth are molded.
She hase freckles and blush that makes her charming
She looks a bit creepy (in my opinion), but this is a rare combination when she scares you and surprises and delights at the same time. Certainly she is gorgeous , she has her own character!
