Bunn Special

Illinois Watch Co. 18 size 21 jewel open face lever-set Bunn Special pocket watch movement/dial/hands.  Nicely finished railroad grade movement with gold jewel settings, gold balance screws, and a two-tone gilt and nickel damaskeen.  Fronted by a double-sunk enamel Gothic numeral dial.  Serial number is 1520148.

Started running weakly when wound but balance motion is sluggish and its very likely this movement hasn't seen a servicing in many years.  Movement has a spot on its barrel bridge, a few scattered surfaces marks, and its two-tone pattern has lost most of its coloring.  Dial has an edge chip at 11 O'clock, a small edge chip near 2 O'clock, a small chip at center, and some hairlines.
