Lovely brand new handmade rag quilt for your baby. This is made from all new cotton flannel from a Riley Blake Designs fabric range and a plain cream cotton flannel backing which you can see peeking through the front on the ragged seams. All threads used are 100% new cotton threads. 

We have made many many of these and they last beautifully through many washes so make a great Christening gift.  This quilt has two layers of flannel.  Upon request we can add a third if going to a cold climate overseas and put up a custom listing for you (Subject to fabric availability)  Over the time we have been making these quilts we have been told 2 layers is more than enough to keep baby nice and cosy here in Australia.  We have also used them ourselves with our children and this is definitely the case.  

The quilt makes a great addition to the pram also, being the perfect size for a cover without overhanging the sides.  Put over a picnic rag they make a great play mat too.  

The ragged edges make this a lovely tactile gift for any baby who will come to love it for years to come.  You can also personalise the back corner of the quilt with a fabric maker or some embroidery to make it extra special.
