Out-of-print, original 2007 UK-issue CD of two albums on one CD of great American singer Bobby Darin.

Issued on top quality reissue label Edsel.

Sings Doctor Dolittle was issued in 1967 and was Darin’s final album for Atlantic. It features 10 of Leslie Bricusse’s songs from the Doctor Dolittle musical.

Issued in 1968, Born Walden Robert Cassotto is the first of Darin’s two folk-protest albums, and his first recording for his own label Direction. This compact disc edition is the first time the album was released in that format. The package features the original album sleevenote for Doctor Dolittle, the lyrics for Born Walden Robert Cassotto and contemporary notes on each of the albums.

There is an additional bonus track “She Knows”, Darin’s final single for Atlantic, recorded in 1967 and arranged by Jack Nitzsche.

CONDITION:
CD is in EXCELLENT condition, a couple of light superficial hairline scuffs, disc plays perfectly. Booklet and rear inlay are in EXCELLENT condition, no blemishes. Booklet contains 16 pages with detailed notes, lyrics to the 1968 album, artwork, credits etc.

This is an original and genuine factory-pressed CD with its full original documentation in an intact jewel case. It is not a CD-R, not a copy and not a bootleg.
