Antique Royal Doulton Slater Stoneware Vase 10 1/4" Early 20th Century  Made in England. No chips or cracks.  A lot of the turquoise coloring has lost brightness. The Royal Doulton impress indicates this piece was made 1902-1911. There is also a Doulton Slater Patent impress. Slater's Patent was a technique that used lace applied to the wet clay to create a base for the decorators to gild & decorate. The small black crossing mark at the left of the crown & lion seal was the way Doulton studio artist Mary Budden signed her pieces.  Very good condition. 3 1/2 lbs. unpacked.
