Item is brand new with damage or missing screws for the lid. These bird boxes are factory seconds due to scuffs/marks to the wood during manufacturing or storage and / or lids that have 'popped' off. The bird boxes are fully functional and remain strong and rigid, the slight damage only affecting appearance with any issues being easily repaired by anyone with basic DIY skills and / or access to small screws or hinges.
