A Rare Quality Edwardian Hallmarked Sterling Silver Embossed Coffee Pot by the Belfast Silversmith Sharman Dermott Neill The Coffee Pot is 8" in height with a length (handle to spout) of 7 1/8" with a diameter to the body of 5 7/8" and has a substantial weight of 27.4 oz or 778 grams The Coffee Pot stands on a raised circular base with an excellent squat baluster shape to the body which has Stunning flower head and leaf embossed work on a spiral rib with an excellent shaped ducks bill capped spout and a "C" shaped carved handle with the domed lid ribbed round the rim with further flower and foliate decoration and finished with a "T" thumb piece and an excellent finial and a gilt interior (see photo's) The Coffee Pot bears an Armorial Crest with the motto "DEEDS NOT WORDS" beneath The Coffee Pot is in Excellent Condition inside and out (see photo's) The Hallmarks are Makers Mark - SDN Lion Passant - Sterling Mark Town Mark - Leopards Head - London Date Letter - g - 1902 with matching hallmarks to the side of the lid and marked for the Silversmith and Retailer S.D Neill to the base A Rare Quality Edwardian Hallmarked Sterling Silver Embossed Coffee Pot Guaranteed to please please take a while to browse through my shop and other items on auction if you have any questions please contact me HAPPY SHOPPING |
