The classic Aston Martin cars all used some variation of the Smiths/Lucas fuel reserve solenoid unit on the gas tank.  These are long discontinued and we have struggled by over the years rebuilding them here in the shop.  We finally ran out of good used coils to operate the solenoid so after some effort we found a source to make them.  These are commonly burnt out or weak and this new coil will restore proper operation along with servicing the other parts which are commonly gummed up and stuck. Pickup tubes can also split and we offer a complete rebuilding service on these units.  These coils are not cheap but are basically wound by hand and duplicate the original in size, resistance, and operation.

Buyers outside of the U.S. please note; many countries, Great Britain in particular, have become very aggressive in collecting import duties and fees on items purchased abroad.  Please be aware of this as we obviously have no control over these policies and actions.

Ebay is also now collecting duty in advance on all international shipments.  The duty will vary according to country and will be based on the full selling price.  This is not under our control, so please be aware!
