On the obverse depicted the great Russian Emperor Alexander II in military uniform with orders and inscription in cyrillic: N.I.V. TZAR ALEXANDER II Liberator 1877-78, оn the reverse depicted the Russian church.

The sign is made of aluminium with diameter 39 mm (1 5/8”).
