This is a very rare and illustrated Naginata book written by Jikishin Kage-ryu 16th
successor,Sonobe Shigehachi.This school was founded in the late Muromachi period
(more than 500 years ago).Naginata is different form Kendo in that it is basically
taught for women.So the illustrations and photos in this book are demonstarated by
Japanese women.It explains basical body movemetns mainly based on Jikishin Kage-ryu.
