Solid Silver Art Deco Brooch and Bracelet Set from the 1930's

Gorgeous vintage suite of heavy sterling silver jewellery comprising of a bracelet and large brooch decorated with repousse four petal flowers, possibly Dogwood.

The suite was designed for the infamous luxury jewellery & retailer, Black, Starr and Gorham (previously known as Black Starr & Frost) by Guglielmo Cini, who emigrated to Boston in 1922 from Italy, and set up his own workshop, creating works for Gorham and other makers of fine silver jewellery like Tiffany & Co.

The bracelet is quite small at 6 ½” inches (16.5cm) long so would only be suitable for petite wrists.

Bracelet: 6 ½” (16.5cm)  long x 1” (2.5cm) high Weight 28.7g

Brooch: 3” (7.5cm) x 2 ½” (6.5cm) Weight 41.10g

Marks: Black Starr and Gorham Sterling by Cini on both bracelet and brooch
