For your consideration is this barefoot seated couple; both figures wear multiple ear-and nose-ornaments and different flanged
headdresses. The male's cap is peaked, the eyes are distinctively represented by reed-stamping and both figures smile broadly.

The nude male sits with exposed genitals, his looped arms rest on flexed knees and his right hand holds a fan.
The female wears only a skirt; her breasts are exposed and she holds a bowl in her left hand.
Both figures have been decorated with cream-on-orange slip and a vent-hole
atop the heads insured safe firing of these delightful terracotta figures.

The male is 10" (25.4 cm) tall, 6" (15.2 cm) wide and 5.75" (14.6 cm) front-to-back;

the female measures 9" (22.8 cm) tall, 5 7/8" (15 cm) wide and 5 1/8" (13.1 cm) front-to-back.

The male has been insignificantly repaired and the female is intact; both figures are in excellent condition.
