A scarce trade card for CG Conn, showing the factory "where the best instruments in the world are manufactured."
Conn is indeed an important name in the production of brass instruments, surviving in some form today.

The age of this card is not clear, though the sentence within the text "No boys or girls are employed" suggests some age! The firm was started in 1844, setting up in Elkhart in 1851.

This trade card includes a map of the USA on the back, showing where Elkhart is.
A very scarce card. I can find no more online.

Size: the card measures 11.5cms x 7.5cms.
Condition: Front of card in a good condition. The map on the back has three small stains, and slight scuffs at the corners. Please study the photographs.

Free post within the UK. £2.00 to Europe, £3.00 to USA etc.
