Rare Scene Antique Victorian Butterfly Cameo

Lovely large Cameo with unusual scene of Psyche feeding a butterfly.

Good size at just over 2" (5cm) tall by 1 3/4" (4.3cm) wide.

Set in a high carat gold frame with twist rope border. Steel pin and c clasp.

Signed on the rear (can't make out the signature unfortunately.

Condition: Three stress lines at 11pm on the front. The rear looks cracked but it isn't, it's just a "layering" of the shell formation.
