Since records are delicate items, I can imagine you might be concerned about the condition in which they will arrive in the post. While I can't do anything about the handling of the items I post once they are out of my hands, I can do everything in my power to package them securely.
Here is how I package each record for you:
• Each component of album is taken apart to minimise potential for damage during transport
• They are placed on top of each other in this order:
• album cover
• insert sleeve
• plastic cover sleeve
• poster (if available)
• album
• Both sides of record are wiped with a microfibre cloth
• Record is wrapped in cling wrap
• Entire bundle is wrapped in bubble wrap, and taped securely with packing tape
• Bundle is packed between 2 pieces of corrugated cardboard (similar thickness to a pizza box) and taped securely with packing tape
• Bundle is wrapped in brown paper
• Packing label is taped securely to the outside of the package
• Package is lodged over the counter with Australia Post to activate tracking
